So we have had a lot of Eurovision 2015 confirmations, intentions and apologies so we thought it wise to have a quick run through the list to see where we stand. As we say ALL the time that until the official deadlines are passed and all documentation received by the EBU, you cannot definitely declare that a country will be at Vienna in 2015. Got that – Good!

We have hyperlinked articles that provide further details on the particular country and their plans/intentions and observations for Eurovision 2015.

Albania – There has been no confirmation from their National Broadcaster as to their plans for Eurovision 2015

Austria (Host) – Vienna will be the play to Eurovision 2015

Armenia – Will be at Eurovision 2015. No details on selection process yet.

Azerbaijan – Will be at Eurovision 2015. No details on selection process yet.

Belarus – Will be at Eurovision 2015. No details on selection process yet.

Belgium – Will be at Eurovision 2015. No details on selection process yet.

Bosnia & Herzegovina – They have advised that they have preliminary expectations to go to Eurovision 2015

Bulgaria – Plan on being at Eurovision 2015 if BNT (National Broadcaster) can find a production company to partner them

Croatia – There has been no confirmation from their National Broadcaster as to their plans for Eurovision 2015

Cyprus – Will be in Vienna and they have an extensive and exciting National Selection brewing.

Denmark – Dansk Melodi Grand Prix already are sifting through their entries

Estonia – Eesti Laul will be back for 2015

Finland – UMK will again select the Finnish song for Eurovision

France – Will be an Internal Selection for Eurovision 2015

FYR Macedonia – 180 entries received for SkopjeFest that will take place on November 12th

Georgia – Will be at Eurovision 2015. No details on selection process yet.

Germany – Their National Final will be on March 5th and you can be there.

Greece – NERIT will have to wait until December to confirm their EBU membership

Hungary – No official decision has been made yet but we hope for the continuation of A-Dal as in previous years.

Iceland – We look forward to Söngvakeppnin 2015

Ireland – We await the details of the Irish National Selection shortly.

Israel – Have conformed they will be at Eurovision 2015 and Mariana Maximilian is favourite to represent the country

Italy – Will be at Eurovision 2015. No details on selection process yet.

Latvia – No details on their National Selection but they confirmed they will be in Vienna

Lithuania – Will be at Eurovision 2015. No details on selection process yet.

Malta – We will be in Malta for their National Final in November and there is much National and International interest in MESC 2015

Montenegro – Will be at Eurovision 2015. No details on selection process yet.

Moldova – Will be at Eurovision 2015. No details on selection process yet.

Netherlands – Will be at Eurovision 2015. No details on selection process yet.

Norway – Melodi Grand Prix has had an increase in entries for Eurovision 2015.

Poland – No official decision has been made yet but the preliminary signs show a possible scheduling of Eurovision

Portugal – Will be at Eurovision 2015. No details on selection process yet.

Romania – Will be at Eurovision 2015. No details on selection process yet.

Russia – No decision has been made yet as to their participation or plans for Eurovision 2015

San Marino – Will confirm their decision on a state broadcast on October 11th

Serbia – They have advised that they have preliminary expectations to go to Eurovision 2015

Slovenia – They have advised that they have preliminary expectations to go to Eurovision 2015

Spain – Will be at Eurovision 2015. No details on their selection process yet but local speculation in using ‘The Hit’

Sweden – Changes for Melodifestivalen 2015 as the Grand Final gets bigger.

Switzerland – 3 Broadcasters involved means 3 times the Selection Fun – Your essential Swiss Timetable

Turkey – Have confirmed that they will not be at Eurovision 2015

Ukraine – NTU have said they will not be at Eurovision 2015 though assistance has been independently offered to them to participate

United Kingdom – Will be at Eurovision 2015. No details on selection process yet.

That is 42 countries that we have a status update on regarding Eurovision 2015. Luxembourg, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Andorra have no plans on returning to the contest in 2015.

So there you have it. There is speculation that Croatia may be about to return to Junior Eurovision and if that was the case then it would be a good indication of returning to Eurovision in 2015.

Albania, despite other websites advising that they have confirmed that they will be at Eurovision 2015 and will use the Festivali i Kenges to select their entry, RTSH has NOT published any such details.
