Denmark 2015 – This year’s hosts of Eurovision 2014 haven’t had the chance to take down the huge Basim Flag from this year’s contest than they have confirmed their selection process for the contest in 2015. The first confirmed National Selection Process of the 2015 season is set for the 7th and 14th of February in the Gigantium Arena in Aalborg.
The Danish city of Aalborg has hosted Dansk Melodi Grand Prix on 4 previous occasions – the last being in 2012 when Soluna Samay won with the song ‘Should’ve Known Better’ which ultimately placed 23rd in the Grand Final of Eurovision in Baku.
The Gigantium Arena has a capacity of 8.5 thousand people and promises to be another smorgasbord of Danish Pop Music. Time we think to get Bryan Rice to Eurovision once and for all or we could have another Sanna Nielsen on our hands!
Submissions for the Danish selection are now open and you have until Monday September 8th to enter your songs to DR (Danish National Broadcaster) – Full details see HERE
So Eurovision 2015 is truly opened for business!
