Time for a Eurovision 2014 recap. So far we have 25 countries who have confirmed that they will be in Copenhagen in 2014. They are as follows
Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Estonia, Finland, Georgia, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Russia, San Marino, Sweden, Switzerland, Denmark, France, Germany and the United Kingdom (according to Graham Norton).
San Marino – Valentina Monetta will hope it is third time lucky as she is provisionally signed to represent the country
Macedonia – Macedonian super star Tijana Dapčević has been confirmed to represent them in Copenhagen
Albania – Will be in Copenhagen any more than likely to use the wonderful “Festivali i Këngës” over Christmas – to select their Eurovision Act as they have done in the past.
Russia will select its entry on 31 December
Switzerland will choose their Eurovision hopeful on February 1st
Sweden already has one confirmed Act for Melodifestivalen 2014 – The band EKO
Germany have announced their “Unser Song für Dänemark” Grand Final will take place on the 13th of March in Cologne.
As more countries announce their plans for Eurovision 2014 – we will keep you posted.
