OGAE Czech Rep and Netherlands cast their Eurovision 2016 votes

As you may know, OGAE is currently undertaking its usual poll to find who would win if it was left to the fans. Up to 44 national fanclubs, plus the Rest-of-the-world, will be calling in their votes over the coming days. We reported on two other countries’ votes yesterday.

Eighteen have already announced their votes, and two more did today – the Czech Republic and the Netherlands. Of course, a country cannot give points to its own song. 

The Czech Republic first. The 28 sets of votes yielded this Top 10.

7 – Spain

6 – Bulgaria

5 – Croatia

4 – Russia

3 – Italy

2 – Estonia

1 – Australia

 

The Netherlands’ votes came from 53 members. These are who they liked:

6 – Latvia

5 – Austria

4 – Bulgaria

3 – Iceland

2 – Macedonia

1 – Estonia

 

So what does this mean overall? If you country isn’t listed below, it’s yet to receive any points. France is building up a clear lead over Russia, who in turn has a big gap over Australia. from Italy downwards it’s getting close. Twenty-six countries currently have votes.
