‘The Mann is Back’.
Eurovision Ireland can confirm that twice Eurosong finalist Andrew Mann has entered 2 songs into the Irish Selection for Eurovision 2015.
You will remember that Andrew has been in the Irish National Final in 2012 and 2014. In 2012 he was runner-up to Jedward with the song ‘Here I Am’.
He returned in 2014 and performed the song ‘Be Mine’.
For 2015 Andrew has teamed up with his Producer and Music Partner Greg French (who was Andrew’s Mentor in the Eurosong Final in 2012). They have written and submitted 2 songs for Eurosong 2015.
Andrew told us that they are
“songs that we believe in completely with our hearts and souls…when Greg and I listened to the final mixes of the songs we both got goose bumps”.
To say that we are happy to see Andrew return to the selection process is an understatement. Andrew is one of the hardest working singers on the Irish circuit and certainly has vast experience to bring to the contest.
You will also remember Andrew from ‘The Voice of Ireland’ and truth be told he should have won the contest that year!
Third time lucky for Andrew? Well it is certainly game on with so many great singers answering the call of the open selection process in Ireland for Eurovision 2015.
