Ireland – Eurovision Ireland can confirm that a song writing team behind hits for global stars P!nk , Justin Timberlake, and Cher and Eurovision artists Margaret Berger (Norway 2013) and Ilse DeLange (The Netherlands 2014) – have entered a song into the Irish selection for Eurovision 2015.

The writing team is Nicole Rodriguez, Tami Rodriguez, Milica Fajgelj, Robin Lynch and Niklas Olovson and they have entered a song for the Eurovision 2015 selection in Ireland.

Robin and Niklas also go under the songwriting/producing name of ‘Machopsycho‘ who brought you Margaret Berger’s 2013 ‘I feed you my love’ that placed 4th for Norway at Eurovision in Malmo. Their big break came with co-writing and producing ‘Stupid Girls’ and ‘Bad Influence’ for Pink

The writing team have worked with some of the biggest singers in the world and hope to make the final of the Irish National Selection for Vienna.

The singer they have for their song is Coco de Áine who is a fresh new talent who has appeared on several gold selling compilation albums in Europe. She is also a keen dancer from Irish through to Hip-Hop though they promise no ‘Riverdance’ should they make the Irish National Final

This is a very exciting prospect and above is a clip of Coco de Ainé singing Jessie J’s ‘Nobody’s Perfect’. This singer and writing team excites us here at Eurovision Ireland.

What do you think of Áine for Eurovision?

  1. Coco de Aine has an amazing voice! In my eyes, she’s a winner. Music producers here in North America would love her voice!!

  2. Jeez. I think that things are really starting to get exciting for Ireland. I think that Coco de Aine has a phenomenal voice. If she can bring that up a few more notches for Eurosong, that will stand her a good chance of winning alone. To add to that, she has an excellent team of songwriters who have not only written successful Eurovision entries but worldwide pop hits. That in itself is a big thing.

To add to the momentum already there, Coco de Aine is a fresh new talent out of Ireland who has featured on gold selling compilation albums all across Europe.

So, all in all, I am very excited at the prospect of Coco de Aine and her team of songwriters. But with that as well, I can see great staging potential. If they deliver on the song, live vocals and staging, I think I can expect big things for Ireland. This is already shaping up to be a very exciting year for Ireland. If we send either Coco de Aine with the right song, Dublin 2016 could very easily happen!!!!!!!!!!!! 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀

To be honest with you, at the moment I don’t think I would be surprised if Ireland ended up as the winner of Eurovision 2015!! 😀
