8 acts competed tonight in the 3rd Semi Final at Melodifestivalen

  • Eddie Razaz – Alibi (Peter Boström & Thomas G:son)
  • Elin Petersson – Island (Elin Petersson)
  • Ravaillacz – En Riktig Jävla Schlager (Kjell Jennstig, Leif Goldkuhl & Henrik Dorsin)
  • Amanda Fondell – Dumb (Freja Blomberg, Fredrik Samsson)
  • Martin Rolinski – In And Out Of Love (Thomas G:son, Andreas Rickstrand & Martin Rolinski)
  • Caroline af Ugglas – Hon Har Inte (Heinz Liljedahl & Caroline af Ugglas)
  • State Of Drama – Falling (Göran Werner, Sebastian Hallifax, Emil Gullhamn & James Hallifax)
  • Janet Leon – Heartstrings (Fredrik Kempe & Anton Malmberg Hård af Segerstad)

The media favourites were Eddie Razaz and Janet Leon before the show started.

After the first set of votes we lost Eddie Razaz as he could only manage 6th place in the vote.

The 5 songs that made it through to the second stage of voting were

  • Martin Rolinski – In And Out Of Love (Thomas G:son, Andreas Rickstrand & Martin Rolinski)

  • State Of Drama – Falling (Göran Werner, Sebastian Hallifax, Emil Gullhamn & James Hallifax)

After the Second round of voting the 2 acts that made it to the Grand final directly were

Shock number 2 came when Janet Leon failed to make the Second Chance Final as those 2 places went to

  • Martin Rolinski – In And Out Of Love (Thomas G:son, Andreas Rickstrand & Martin Rolinski)
  • Caroline af Ugglas – Hon Har Inte (Heinz Liljedahl & Caroline af Ugglas)

The crowd favourite appeared to be Ravaillacz – En Riktig Jävla Schlager
