
Yle, the Finnish national broadcaster, have a departure, ahead of UMK 2027 – their national selection for the 2027 Eurovision Song Contest.
Anssi Autio, Executive Producer of UMK, has announced that he is stepping away from the Contest after fifteen years. Anssi Autio has been with UMK from the start – replacing Euroviisut as the Finnish national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. Anssi Autio had the following to say:
“I am grateful for my role and for having been able to build UMK into a competition and entertainment program that has become one of the most prestigious singing competitions.”
