Music Mogul Louis Walsh loves his Eurovision and always will. We all know what happened this year at the Irish National Final or as we like to call it ‘Euro-Gate’.
Well Louis had already touted Janet Grogan for possible Eurovision success after she failed to make Judges Houses on the UK’s X-Factor.
Today he has also come out in support of another of this year’s X-Factor’s contestants who failed to pass the Boot Camp sections of the show.
This time Olra Keogh from Artane in Dublin who was in Cheryl’s Girls category. It was thought that Orla was going to secure one of the ‘Wild Card’ places on last Saturday’s show but that was not the case.
“X Factor’s loss could be Ireland’s gain at the Eurovision. They should have gone further than X Factor. They’re both young, fresh talents and they should go for it.”
With both Jedward and Mary Byrne also claiming that they want to enter Eurosong it could be an X-Factor parade in Ireland.
What do you think of Orla Keogh for Eurovision ?
Let us know.

Hope Janet pursues this 🙂
She has a great voice indeed Steve and she is likeable too
It’s so weird because I done a post saying who I would pluck from youtube to appear on X Factor and she was one of them and I didn’t even know it. If you get a chance take a look, it’s called If I Was A Producer On X Factor…
That’s all we need: even more reality show rejects. It’s not looking very promising for Vienna. 😦
It has only started Anita. I think there could be some undiscovered gems out there as Ireland is full of lots of unsigned talent
Exactly! So please go find them, RTE! Don’t just settle for someone whose potential Eurosong candidature is predicated on the fact that they once took part in some reality singing competition and were booted off after five minutes. Fresh talent is what’s needed, not has-beens and never-wases.
