For our Summer 2026 feature series, we are celebrating 25 years of Melodifestivalen on tour. We will take a look at the songs that have progressed direct to the final over the past two and a half decades. Today we are looking at the songs that have progressed from GĂ€vle.
2007 – Heat Four
The fourth heat of 2007 took place at the LĂ€kerol Arena, in GĂ€vle. Andreas Johnson took first place (207,631 votes), with âA Little Bit of Loveâ, while Sarah Dawn Finer took second place (139,982 votes), with âI Remember Loveâ.
2016 – Heat Four
The fourth heat of 2016 took place at the Gavlerinken Arena, in GĂ€vle. Frans took first place (1,018,168 votes), with âIf I Were Sorryâ, while Molly SandĂ©n took second place (937,375 votes), with âYouniverseâ.
