“We are looking for artists and songs with uniqueness, a clear identity and impact. A song that stands out from the very first listen, and that both the Norwegian audience and the rest of Europe will just want to hear over and over again.
We want artists who have something to say, who dare to be themselves and who are ready to throw themselves wholeheartedly into an adventure that can take them from the rehearsal room to the biggest stage in Europe.
Together with an incredibly dedicated MGP editorial team, we will create moments that bring together, engage and excite audiences both here at home and abroad in Europe.”
Mads Tørklep, Project Manager for Melodi Grand Prix, had the following to say:
“MGP continues to develop and we are working on several exciting new features that we look forward to sharing after the summer. The ambition is to create the strongest and most spectacular edition of Melodi Grand Prix to date.”
