
Khabar Agency, the Kazakh national broadcaster, have revealed they have been invited to participate, at the inaugural Eurovision Asia 2026, in Bangkok.
Khabar Agency have received an invitation from Media Partners Asia, who are representing the interests of Voxovation. The Kazakh Ministry of Culture and Information had the following to say:
“The Ministry highly appreciates the importance of the Eurovision Song Contest as one of the largest creative platforms for the countries of Central Asia and recognises its important role in the development of cultural exchange and the popularisation of national art at a global level. At the moment, the issue of Kazakhstan’s participation in this project remains subject to/review of financial costs.”
