
ERR, the Estonian national broadcaster, have confirmed their continued non-participation at the 2026 Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
ERR STATED ahead of the 2025 Contest, they could participate every other year, in line with the broadcast cycle of Tähtede lava. Mart Luik, a member of the board of the Estonian broadcaster, had the following to say:
“Due to budget constraints, we have decided not to participate in this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026. We hope that our budget situation will improve in the coming years and we will be able to return.”
