🇹🇭 #ESC25: ‘Swiss Sundays’ – July 7th

Welcome to our new weekly series – ‘Swiss Sundays’. Each week, we will be looking towards the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest, in Switzerland.

Following on from last week when we looked at the four POTENTIAL host cities, SRG SSR, the Swiss national broadcaster, have gone on to announce the CORE TEAM that will be responsible for the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest. Christer Björkman will be taking on the role as ‘Head of Contest’ for a seventh time.

The EBU, the European Broadcasting Union, RELEASED the findings of their independent investigation, following the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest. Following the investigation findings, Martin Österdahl also SPOKE OUT for the first time since this year’s Contest.

Countries who have confirmed participation have either opened or announced their application periods. While SWITZERLAND open their applications during August, applications have already opened in LUXEMBOURG.
