RTL, the Luxembourgish national broadcaster, has opened the application window for the Luxembourg Song Contest 2025 – their national selection for the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest.

The application window will remain open until Sunday 6th October and then an international expert jury will review all of the submissions and will invite several artists to auditions. Following the auditions, a number of artists will be invited to compete in the 2025 Luxembourg Song Contest.

Applications can be made HERE. Entry requirements include:

• Applicants must be Luxembourgish nationals, have lived in Luxembourg for three consecutive years or have strong links to the Luxembourgish cultural scene
• Applicants must be at least 16 by January 1 2025
• Applicants must be available between November 2024 and May 2025
• Applicants must be able to sing live
• In the case of groups or bands, at least one member of the group or band must meet these requirements
• Songs must not exceed three minutes in length
• Songs must be original
• Songs must not have been released or performed before September 1 2024
• Songs can be in any language
• Artists can submit up to five songs
