After all that wondering and guessing, Cypriot singer Hovig finally put us out of our misery and revealed the title of his Eurovision 2017 entry!
Earlier tonight, he confirmed on Facebook that his song for Kyiv is called “Gravity”, but we’ll have to wait a little longer before we get to hear it. Check out the screen grab below!
So we still have to wait till March before we get to hear what Cyprus will be sending to Eurovision, but you’ve got to admit, it was an interesting way to make the announcement! Certainly kept us guessing! For those of you who missed out on the fun and didn’t get to play along with the guessing, you can still check out Eurovision Ireland unravelling the clues here, here and here!
As has already been pointed out by fans across the internet, Montenegro’s Slavko will be singing “Space”, Switzerland have a song called “Apollo” in their selection this Sunday… now with Cyprus and “Gravity”, Eurovision 2017 could really be out of this world!!
Did you guess Gravity? Can’t wait to hear the song in March?
Let us know what you think!

I’d still rather see Zlata sing her version – I suppose there’s always a chance of that happening in Kyiv anyway 🙂
Ukraine have had some very memorable Eurovision entries, it would be fantastic to see a medley during the interval in May!
Ruslana, Zlata, Ani, Tina – sounds like a roll call for “Eurovision Beauty” 😉
Don’t forget Mariya too! They’d really be missing an opportunity if they didn’t put these girls into a medley 😀
Alyosha, Mika, Gaitana, Svetlana, Jamala – are there any unattractive women in Ukraine? 🙂
Svetlana! I knew there was one I was racking my brains for and couldn’t remember! Shame on me! Apparently not, all their Eurovision singers are stunning and incredibly talented!
Aside from Ukraine, I wonder if anyone will comment about Hovig and Cyprus 🙂
I’m sure they will 😉 Cyprus have had some brilliant songs over the years, especially in the 1990s, so I’m sure people can’t wait to hear they’ve got ready for Kyiv
