This year Denmark celebrates the 60th edition of their selection for Eurovision Song Contest. What a great number to celebrate!
The interest to take part in Dansk Melodi Grand Prix was really high this year with a high record of 1,115 songs submitted.
Only 10 acts were chosen and between them we can find:
- Two X Factor winners: Thomas Ring, who won the third season in 2010, and Anthony, who won the program in 2014 as part of duo Anthony Jasmin.
- Another winner of a talent show Anja, who won The Voice in Australia in 2014 and last year ended up in second place in the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix with the song ‘Never Alone’.
- Also René Machon returns to the Grand Prix scene for the second time. He participated in 2015 with the song ‘Mi Amore’.
- Livind doll Sada Vidoo, which last year impressed the judges in the British version of X Factor.

The selection will take place in February 25 with the show being hosted by Johannes Nymarkhas and Annette Heick.
