Let’s hear it for the girls!
Yes Edyta Górniak was Poland’s first ever representative at Eurovision back in 1994. The singer gave Poland their best result at the contest – 2nd – with the song ‘To nie ja’
In a radio interview today she confirmed that she had indeed submitted a song to TVP (Polish Broadcaster) for consideration.
This news was confirmed by Polish site ‘Let’s Talk About ESC’ where they spoke to Head of their National Selection Process Radek Kobiałko who confirmed the story. This is not the first time that Górniak has expressed an interest in returning to the contest but it is the first fully confirmed by TVP – SEE HERE All we can say is that we are happy and ‘Grateful’ (song title submitted) to hear this news as will my Polish step mother!
They also confirmed that the pop princess Margaret has also submitted an entry to TVP. Margaret is one hot pop properties and would be a huge coup for Poland at Eurovision.
Is it time for Edyta to return to Eurovision? Should the new kid on the block Margaret have a chance?
Let us know!
