Eurovision Winner Conchita Wurst is beginning to trend on Twitter in the USA ahead of her attending the The Golden Globes Awards this weekend.

However – since Conchita was highlighted in Time Square over the New Year by the massive Google Billboards, it seems that mainstream America is taking an interest in our Eurovision Winner.

Tweets that are ‘doing the rounds’ are asking E-News and Ryan Seacrest (American Idol Host and TV/Radio producer) to interview Conchita on The Red Carpet at the Golden Globes this Saturday. They are even asking for E! to get Conchita on the ‘Glam Cam’. Here is one example.

With the return of the show ‘Fashion Police’ – after the death of the wonderful Joan Rivers – it would seem ideal for them to feature Conchita on the show.

Furthermore Conchita’s ad campaign for ‘Parrot Headphones’ has gone national in America and is certainly set to get people talking!

So what will happen when America meets Conchita? Will it be a love affair? Is America ready to be open and tolerant?
