Is this a ‘Musical Marriage’ made in heaven? Well we certainly hope so. We all know that The Scissor Sisters are fans of the Eurovision Song Contest and of Conchita Wurst.

Singer Ana Matronic has commented on the contest for the BBC on several occasions and lead singer Jake Shears is always tweeting about the contest – exhibit below.

Today Eurovision Winner Conchita Wurst posted the title tweet of her and Jake Shears meeting at Stockholm Pride where they are both attending.

Now this for us would be a musical match made in heaven and we know that Conchita is currently looking for great collaborations for her new material as she told us recently in Dublin.

The Scissor Sisters last album release was in 2012 ‘Magic Hour’. They will also be on the Arthur Russell Tribute Album raising funds for AIDS Relief – due for release in October of 2014.

We think a collaboration between both acts would be ‘Filthy and Gorgeous’
