Time for some ‘Vintage Wurst’ as we like to call it. Eurovision winner Conchita Wurst and Jacques Patriaque a few years ago created this wonderful performance entitled ‘Dick in a box’.
They took to the stage at the Salon Kitty Revue in Vienna. This is the famous burlesque club in the Austrian capital. Salon Kitty Revue is a performance once a month and shows a variety of Burlesque and Boylesque styles. Each show having its own topic and own costumes and performances fitting to the shows concept.
Conchita and Jacques performed ‘Dick in a Box’ which is highly entertaining and Conchita plays the Burlesque role elegantly. Always humorous and always entertaining we hope to see this performance reprised in Austria in 2015!

Give me the old style cabaret any day, this is nothing like it ! And if this should be Conchita laughing at herself, than I pity her. It’s pathetic !
I have seen lots of old style cabaret that is in this vein Edith – I guess it is because I am ANCIENT! I find the video amusing but we all can differ which is the beauty of it 🙂

Oh I love this Edith. It is Conchita taking a laugh at herself and it is pays homage to the old style cabaret acts. Funny yet saying nothing. Love It
