Lithuania – The National Selection for Eurovision 2014 that keeps giving – “Eurovizijos” – tonight saw 7 acts reduced to 6.

Tonight the public heard the second set of 8 songs that are in consideration for the Lithuanian Eurovision entry for 2014. Last week’s eliminated artist Justinas Lapatinskas returned to perform one of the songs – though he remains eliminated from the contest.

The remaining artists performed the following songs

1. Vaidas Baumila “Worlds Apart”
2. Monika Linkytė “It’s All About A Boy”
3. Vilija Matačiūnaitė “You Found Me”
4. Martynas Kavaliauskas “New Beginning”
5. VIG Roses “Silent Tears”
6. Mia “Let’s Share That Love Tonight (Map)”
7. Ieva Zasimauskaitė “Blowing Out Cobwebs”
8. Justinas Lapatinskas “Is This The Way (You Want Me)”

After the votes from the Lithuanian and International Public were combined with that of the Local and International Juries – the final 6 artists were announced

• Vaidas Baumila
• Vilija Matačiūnaitė
• Mia

This now means that VIG Roses was the act to be eliminated.

One of the on-line favourites appears to be Vaidas Baumila and here is his performance from tonight singing “Worlds Apart”
