Two returning Albanian Eurovision participants will try to represent their country again at Eurovision 2014. RTSH (Albanian National Broadcaster) have announced the artists who will contest the “Festivali i Këngës”.
The winner of the “Festivali i Këngës” will then have the honor of representing Albania at Eurovision 2014. The festival will take place on the 22nd of December 2013 in.
The artists that have been confirmed are as follows :

• Blerina Braka
• Etmond Mancaku & Saviana Vierdha
• Frederik Ndoci
• Hersi Matmuja
• Klodian Kaçani
• Luiz Ejlli
• Lynx
• Marjeta Billo
• Orges Toçe
• Renis Gjoka
• Rezarta Smaja
• Sajmir Braho
• Venera Lumani & Lindi Islami
• Xhejn & Enxhi Kumrija
• Xhejsi Jorgaqi
Luiz Ejlli represented Albania at Eurovision in 2006 with the song “Zjarr e ftohtë” (Fire and Cold). Luiz too also failed to qualify for the Grand Final of the contest despite being a personal favorite of mine.
Frederik Ndoci represented Albania at Eurovision in 2007 with the song “Hear My Plea” and unfortunately did not progress to the Grand Final.
Albania failed to reach the Grand Final of Eurovision 2013.
