Danish Broadcaster DR, have today called for songs to be submitted for their 2014 Eurovision entry – otherwise known as “Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2014.
Keeping with tradition a national final will take place consisting of either 9 or 10 entries. 6 of these will be selected through the open call to composers/artists and the remaining finalists will be specially invited by DR.

The application deadline is October 7th and the entries must include the following completed application form
The last time that Denmark hosted the Eurovision back in 2001 – they came a very close second place with the highly infectious “Never ever gonna let you go” by Rollo & King. It is certain that they want to do the double next year as DR Entertainment Editor, Rasmus Ladefoged said “We want to win again.”
