Irish Eurovision stars are joining forces to record and release a charity single in May for the Homeless. Donna McCaul  – Eurovision 2005 Irish Artist and Eurosong finalist 2012 – will be one of the performers. Donna told us that she was “very excited to be involved in this” project that is for a very worthy project.

Now Donna will be joined by another Irish Eurovision Act – Boyzone – who were the Interval Act at the Eurovision Song Contest in Dublin back in 1997 where Ronan Keating also co-presented the show with Carrie Crowley.

Also keeping the Eurovision connection going – will be Andrew Mann – who performed in the Irish Eurosong National Final last year and finished joint second with the song “Here I am”. Andrew has also been riding high in “The Voice of Ireland” competition this year.

Also confirmed as joining the charity single is Irish singer/song writer Darragh McGann who is extremely talented. You should look at his performances.

The final guest confirmed so far is none other than those “C’est La Vie” loving girls – yes the double denim power house and recently reunited girl group B*Witched who dominated the charts with their infectious songs will be joining the record.

The song itself will be composed by Boyzone’s Shane Lynch and is expected to be recorded shortly and released in May. We will be linking up with Donna McCaul when we get more details of the song and hopefully help make it a huge success for a very worthwhile charity.
