The first deliveries of the Eurovision 2013 stage have arrived at the Malmo Arena in Sweden ahead of the upcoming contest. Above you can see that the Arena is an empty shell but the first pieces of technical equipment has arrived. With just under 4 weeks to prepare the arena before the rehearsals begin, it is all hands on deck to get the Eurovision stage up to SVT standards – but we have no fears at all when you look at the Juggernaut that is Melodifestivalen that tours the country week after week in their search of their Eurovision Entry.

It is amazing to thing that in a few weeks the Malmo Arena will look like this!
At the same time the Press Center and Eurovision fan venues like Euroclub and Euro Cafe are being worked on also. The anticipation in Malmo is already at fever pitch according to Swedish media. The Swedes like their Eurovision and are only delighted to be hosting the contest for the 5th time and the first country to win the contest twice since Ireland’s 1990’s winning streak.
