There has been much speculation nationally and internationally as to who will represent the Netherlands at Eurovision 2015. Several names have been speculated from Alain Clark to Miss Montreal.

Eurovision Ireland spoke to Ms Anouk Evers (Head of Communications) at Dutch Broadcaster AVROTROS about the Dutch selection for Eurovision 2015.

Ms Evers has advised that the broadcaster has already commenced discussions “with several artists about the Eurovision Song Contest 2015”

As for the interest from the mainstream Dutch artists to represent The Netherlands in Vienna, Ms Evers commented that AVROTROS

“are excited about the increased Eurovision-ambition among Dutch artists this year”.

It appears that the success of Anouk and The Common Linnets has enticed many artists to the contest.

An announcement will be published on the Official Website with the details for 2015.
