KAN, the Israeli national broadcaster, has confirmed participation in the 2027 Eurovision Song Contest.
The confirmation comes as KAN and Keshet 12 agree once again to co-operate on HaKokhav HaBa. The winner of HaKokhav HaBa will represent Israel at the 2027 Eurovision Song Contest. HaKokhav HaBa has been used to select the Israeli representative between 2015-2020 and again from 2024.
An open call for potential songs that will represent Israel, will also be made by KAN. Forty songs will be shortlisted following the closure of submissions. The 40 shortlisted songs will be decided by a committee formed of professionals from KAN and Keshet.
