SRG SSR, the Swiss national broadcaster, have confirmed their continued non-participation at the 2026 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Ta’ Qali.
SRG SSR, confirmed to ESC Spot that the continued non-participation is due to limited resources. Kathrin Mauchle, customer service representative of SRG SSR, had the following to say:
“SRG SSR is focused on participating in the Eurovision Song Contest and will therefore not participate in Junior Eurovision. The four companies belonging to our SRG SSR television channel have limited resources, which they are investing in more diverse programming.”
