LSM, the Latvian national broadcaster, have confirmed their continued non-participation, ahead of the 2026 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Ta’ Qali.

Ahead of the 2025 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, LSM revealed they were open to a RETURN to the Contest, however a Latvian return will not take place this year. LSM have not given any further reasons for their non-participation this year.
