STVR, the Slovakian national broadcaster, had explored a return to the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest, in Vienna.

Jindřich Bardon, program manager of Rádio Slovensko, STVR’s main radio station, was among the delegation that was at the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest, in Vienna. Jindřich Bardon, spoke to Deník N, a Czech media outlet, believing STVR would return to the Eurovision Song Contest, at some point in the future. Jindřich Bardon had the following to say:

“It’s all about the price/performance ratio. It’s not easy for us at the moment in times of consolution.”
