
On the lead up to the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, which is been held in Paris, we are looking back at all the countries to have participated in the Contest and their histories – past and present. Today we look at Croatia’s story.
Croatia debuted at the 2003 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Copenhagen, Denmark. Dino Jelusić participated with “Ti si moja prva ljubav”, finishing in 1st place (their best position) and 134 points.
Nika Turković represented Croatia at the 2004 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Lillehammer, Norway. She participated with “Hej mali”, finishing in 3rd place and 126 points.
Lorena Jelusić represented Croatia at the 2005 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Hasselt, Belgium. She participated with “Rock Baby”, finishing in 12th place and 36 points.
Mateo Đido represented Croatia at the 2006 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Bucharest, Romania. He participated with “Lea”, finishing in 10th place and 50 points.
After an eight year wait, Croatia returned to the 2014 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Marsa, Malta – their final participation to date. Josie participated with “Game Over”, finishing in 16th and last place, with 13 points.
