
We have seen all of this year’s participating countries rehearse once so far this year – but what about the countries thats have participated in the Contest previously?
Norway
Norway first took part at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, when it was held in Copenhagen, in 2003. They participated in the first three Contests, before eventually withdrawing before the 2006 edition.
Norway had mixed success in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Their best result came at the 2005 Contest, which was held in Hasselt, Belgium. Malin Reitan finished in 3rd place with their entry “Sommer og skolefri”.

Spain
Spain first took part at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, when it was held in Copenhagen, in 2003. They participated in the first four Contests, before eventually withdrawing before the 2007 edition.
Spain had mixed success in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Their best result came at the 2004 Contest, which was held in Lillehammer, Norway. Maria Isabel finished in 1st place with her entry “Antes muerta que sencilla”.
