Ever since Poli Genova rocked Europe with “If Love Was A Crime” and came 5th in the televote, we’ve been keen to see what Bulgaria will offer up for Eurovision next – and judging by a Tweet posted by BNT earlier today, it seems we won’t have long to wait!
BNT Eurovision BG (@bg_eurovision), the Bulgarian national broadcaster’s official Twitter for all things Eurovision and Junior Eurovision posted the following earlier today about their Eurovision plans:-
Exciting, eh? Of course, fans of Eurovision and Bulgarian music were quick to bombard BNT with their questions and “Is it going to be….??” – so much so, that they recently tweeted this too!
So things are moving quickly in Bulgaria it seems!
Poor Bulgaria has not had the most auspicious time at Eurovision, only qualifying twice in 11 attempts since their debut in 2005. This being said, after last year’s crowd pleasing hit brought them their highest ever placing entry, I think Bulgaria has a new lease of life in the contest. Dare I say it, I think it won’t be long till Sofia gets the chance to host the Eurovision Song Contest too!
What do you think? Who would you like to see sing for Bulgaria in Kyiv?
Let us know what you think!
