So Who Won The Marcel Bezençon Awards at Eurovision 2014?

Every year the Marcel Bezençon Awards were awarded at the Eurovision Song Contest. As usual there were 3 awards the Press Award, an Artistic Award and the Composer Award.

The Press Award (voted for by the International Press) was won by Austria’s Conchita Wurst and for her song and performance of “Rise Like A Phoenix”.

The Artistic Award (voted for by the commentators at the contest) was won by The Common Linnets for their entry and performance of “Calm After The Storm”.

The Composer Award for composition (voted for by the composers of the entries in the 2014 contest) went to JB Meijers, Ilse DeLange, Matthew Crosby, Rob Crosby and Jake Etheridge for The Common Linnets “Calm After The Storm”
