How much we love Eurovision – The Sequel. Yesterday we saw Eurovision Ireland’s Elaine Dove embody the spirit of Bucks Fizz in a skirt ripping rendition of “Making Your Mind Up”. Today we decided to go for pure vocal quality – one coughs slightly – as we bring you Eurovision Ireland’s very own Andrew James Main as he goes all Lithuanian on us at last weeks UK Eurobash.
Picture this if you will. All the way to Eurovision via Scotland, via Ireland and Lithuania and someone has written on your shows “Love” and “Spain” – oops “Pain”. What ever our man Andrew was eating has seen him sprout a full head of hair and eyebrows that look as if they could be pets. This is “Reagaine Gone Wild” dear readers and it could be contagious. (Always Read The Label as my Mother would say)
Yes Andrew could be only showing his Eurovision devotion through this year’s Lithuanian Grand Finalist Andrius Pojavis and the song “Something”. The “eyebrowography” – that Elaine now owns the copyright to – is in itself worth 12 points. Andrew took Andrius’ hair to the “John Travolta Grease Years” which we have to commend him on.
Now we think that the original Andrius needs to see this performance – so we have sent it to him today. Let’s hope that he sees the hard work that you put into your homage to him – or we (no you Andrew) are certainly in BIG TROUBLE! He is a tall man and may come a looking for retribution.
All we can say is DOUZE POINTS to Andrew and Andrius.
Tomorrow we have “How Much We Love Eurovision – The Ultimate Showdown” and the saga will come to it’s ultimate end. Only one of them will be still left singing (shame only one). Sorry but every movie franchise has to have a trilogy these days. Just be thankful we are not doing the Fast and Furious as they are on number 200 at this stage.
