Fredericia has officially withdrawn their bid to host Eurovision 2014. This now leaves 3 cities in the running for the honor of hosting the Eurovision Song Contest next year – Copenhagen, Herning and Horsens.

The Messe C stadium, was the corner-stone of the Fredericia bid, could not meet the EBU/ESC criteria to host the contest.  Last week Aalborg withdrew their bid.

With Copenhagen proposing several venues to host Eurovision 2014 ( as we wrote of last week) they have to be seen as the favorites to host the contest next year. Though the Danish people voted for Herning in an on-line poll on DR. Personally I am holding out for the Prison option in Horsens.

Time will tell. What city do you think should host Eurovision 2014?
