Eurovision Winners Lys Assia (First ever Winner 1956) and Emmelie de Forest (Latest winner 2013) will be gracing the Stockholm Pride celebrations on August 1st. Yes both Eurovision winners will be singing at the annual Stockholm Pride concert at Östermalms Idrottsplats.

Lys Assia – who won the contest in 1956 – will be performing her winning entry “Refrain” and we hope also her Swiss National Final entry – that really should have won the Swiss vote this year – “All In Your Head”

“It is an honour to be invited to Stockholm Pride and to perform the first ever Eurovision winning entry Refrain. I am looking forward to meeting the Pride audience who I have been told are true Eurovision fans”, says Lys Assia

Emmelie de Forest will be performing her winning entry “Only Teardrops” and a new song too. “I am really looking forward to Stockholm Pride, to be able to meet the public and perform Only Teardrops as well as a new song of mine”.

To add to his – Melodifestivalen favorite –  Janet Leon – will be performing the official Pride 2013 song “New Colours”. The song was written by  GRAMMY-nominated demo producer Jorgen Elofsson, Jesper Jakobson, Lisa Desmond along with this year’s Pride Artist – Janet Leon.
