OGAE United Kingdom may have already given their Eurovision votes for 2013, but the Scottish Eurovision Fans have continued their tradition of having their Annual Preview Eurovision Party where those gathered cast their Eurovision votes. With over 33 people voting it was almost as big as this year’s Eurovision itself. The party took place in the 1972 Eurovision Host city of Edinburgh.

After the votes were cast the Top 10 was a close run race with only 5 points separating the top 2 countries. So who won?

1 Georgia 166 points
2 San Marino 161
3 Norway 150
4 Italy 135
5 Germany 107
6 Malta 104
7 Ukraine 97
8 Finland 81
9 Netherlands 75
10 Switzerland 71

The current favourite with the OGAE poll and the book makers – Denmark – managed to come in 11th place missing out on a Top 10 finish. The Uk entry “Believe in Me” by Bonnie Tyler came in joint 13th place with Ryan Dolan from Ireland. Great to see Malta and Finland scoring well as they have been somewhat overlooked by many of the fan polls.

Well done to the team for organising a great pre Eurovision Event.
