Valentina Monetta – Will Represent San Marino at Eurovision 2013 with the song “Crisalide”

Valentina Monetta will represent San Marino at Eurovision 2013 with the song “Crisalide” which is due to be premiered tonight at 20:25 (CET). However you can listen to the song now on-line. We cannot confirm if this is the final mix of the song that will be revealed tonight  but you can listen to the versions on line by following the links below

and also on Spotify at

and on YouTube

The song is composed by Eurovision Legend  Ralph Siegel and lyrics by Mauro  Balestri. It is a soulful ballad that then transforms into a resounding up tempo dance song. This is truly more reflective of the genre of music that Valentina sings and allows her to demonstrate her vocal ability.

The concept of the song could lend itself to a dramatic stage performance in Malmo.

What do you think of the song? A transformation from “The Social Network”? Let us know.

  1. If ye hadn’t told me it was last years singer I would never have guessed, A huge improvement and very good.

    • She is an amazing Jazz and opera singer in her profession normally. Last year – though my guilty pleasure – did not display her talent. This is sublime. We are just about to post her stunning video too – and also a great Jazz version of “The Social Network” too
