Johnny Logan is back on a A Eurovision stage. In fact DR – Danish National Broadcaster has announced that Johnny Logan will be the guest performer at the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2013 final on January 26th. We have met Johnny Logan on several occasions and he is sounding amazing these days. The people of Herning are in for a treat. No doubt he will be performing his Eurovision Winning songs from 1980 and 1987.

And possibly he may also perform the winning song that he wrote for Linda Martin in 1992?

I can also tell you that several of the Mentors in this year’s Irish Eurosong Final were looking to make contact with Johnny Logan last year to possibly collaborate on composing a song for Eurovision together. Watch this space for more information on that one.

Also performing at the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2013 final will be 2 other Eurovision Winners.

Firstly there will be The Brotherhood Of Man – winners from 1976 with their hugely popular “Save All Your Kisses For Me“. They actually performed at the Irish National final last year and from being in the audience the atmosphere was electric.

And finally you will be treated to a Swedish winner in the form of Herreys who won the contest in 1984 with “Diggi – loo Diggi – ley” – narrowly beating Ireland by a few points with another Linda Martin/Johnny Logan collaboration song.

All we need now are the names of the finalists at Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2013. DR will be publishing the details on January 16th. This certainly will be a show to savour.
