Eurovision 2012

ABBA Sang “Money Money Money” – Will 2013 be the same?

1974 saw Abba won with “Waterloo” but today it is all about their other hit “Money Money Money“.

Yes Santa is comingearly this year so you better get your “Money Money Money” ready to buy your Eurovision tickets as they go on sale from Monday November 26th. Yes you will have to raid the Christmas fund to ensure you get to see Europe‘s favourite music television show. Official fans will get the opportunity to buy standing tickets that will be on the ground floor of the stadium up close to the stage. SVT are determined to have the fans as the main focus of the show in 2013.

SO HOW MUCH WILL IT COST YOU?

Well for the official fans it will be like last year where you can purchase a fan package that will provide you with tickets to the 3 dress rehearsals and the 3 livew shows – so 6 tickets in total for the sum of 345Euro approx. These tickets will see the fans right up at the stage where they will be standing – well we all know we will be dancing and waving  our flags as always. However the EBU and SVT have recognised that some people may want to sit and have therefore allocated one seated area for the fans for the dress rehearsals and the final on the ground floor.

SO WHAT IF I AM NOT AN OFFICIAL FAN?

Fear not you Eurovision lovers. Tickets will also go on sale on November 26th for the 9 – YES NINE shows. The 3 live shows and the 2 dress rehearsals for each of the broadcasted shows. This offers more people the opportunity to share in the 2013 contest. And the cost of the shows for non official fans will range from 10 – AGAIN YES TEN Euro to 216Euro. So there is a ticket to suit all people’s budgets and seating requirements.

HOW MANY TICKETS WILL THERE BE?

Well it is not yet finalised as SVT today announced that once the stage has been built and the camera cranes have been installed in the Eurovision Arena, there will be another allocation of tickets that will go on sale. So you have been warned in advance. The announcement came today from this year’s Eurovision Executive Producer Martin Osterdahl.

WHERE CAN I GET MY TICKETS?

Well Official Fans will have already been in contact with their OGAE officials in regards their Fan Package ticket sales. You will have between Monday November 26th to the start of Monday December 3rd – So I suggest that you make sure to check your emails from your OGAE President and make sure to provide them with all of the required details they may need!
