For our Summer 2026 feature series, we are celebrating 25 years of Melodifestivalen on tour. We will take a look at the songs that have progressed direct to the final over the past two and a half decades. Today we are looking at the songs that have progressed from Eskilstuna.

2024 – Heat Four

The fourth heat of 2024 took place at the Stiga Sports Arena, in Eskilstuna. Danny Saucedo took first place (1,403,133 votes) and qualified after the first round of voting, with “Happy That You Found Me”, while Dotter took second place (84 points) after the second round of voting, with “It’s Not Easy to Write a Love Song”.
