PBS, the Maltese national broadcaster, have continued the Blind Auditions for The Voice Kids – their national selection for the 2026 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Ta’ Qali.

Last Friday evening, the first Battle Rounds of The Voice Kids were broadcast on PBS. Of the ten auditionees, seven progressed to the Battles round. In the show, it was Destiny Chukunyere that saw her singers perform and compete for a place in the Sing-Offs. The Battles and the results were:

Battle One

• Skye Gilson (11) – Through to the Sing-Offs
• Roan Pirotta (13) – Knocked out
• Aidem Galea (13) – Knocked out

Battle Two

• Zeah Aquilina (13) – Through to the Sing-Offs
• Elena Spagnol (14) – Knocked out
• Annis Joy Buttigieg (14) – Stolen by Monsigneur

Battle Three

• Matthias Cutajar (12) – Knocked out
• Alaiya Cini (13) – Through to the Sing-Offs
• Ella Tonna (11) – Knocked out
