PBS, the Maltese national broadcaster, have commenced the Blind Auditions for The Voice Kids – their national selection for the 2026 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Ta’ Qali.

Last night, the first Blind Auditions of The Voice Kids were broadcast on PBS. Of the eight auditionees, five progressed to the Battles round. The results were:

• Nina Grima Wood (12) – All coaches turned, joined Gaia Cauchi’s team
• Slavin Schembri (12) – No coaches turned
• Skye Gilson (11) – All coaches turned, joined Destiny Chukunyere’s team
• Emma Farrugia (14) – All coaches turned, joined Aleandro Spiteri Monsigneur’s team
• Martina Micallef (10) – No coaches turned
• Roan Pirotta (13) – Destiny Chukunyere turned
• Leona Debono (10) – No coaches turned
• Beppe Caruana (11) – Gaia Cauchi turned
