🇨🇦 #ESC27: Canada’s Selection Approach Explained

CBC/Radio-Canada, Canada’s national public broadcaster, have explained the approach to their selection, ahead of the 2027 Eurovision Song Contest in Burgas.

Jennifer Dettman, the Canadian Head of Delegation, explained that the broadcaster opted against a televised national selection, due to tight timelines – however this method hasn’t been ruled out for the future. As part of determining its approach, CBC reached out to SBS (🇦🇺), SRG SSR (🇨🇭), Yle (🇫🇮) and the BBC (🇬🇧), while Radio-Canada spoke with RTBF (🇧🇪) and France Télévisions (🇫🇷), about their respective selection methods. We have previously explained the 2027 selection process HERE.
