
CBC/Radio-Canada, Canada’s national public broadcaster, have launched their artist selection, ahead of the 2027 Eurovision Song Contest, in Burgas.
CBC/Radio-Canada will open their artist applications on Monday 31st August and will remain open until Wednesday 9th September. On Monday 31st August, an application portal will open, which will have the full details of eligibility criteria, participation requirements and more.
Following the closure of the application window, a number of finalists will be announced in the autumn, with an online vote taking place via the Eurovision Song Contest Canada website. A combination of public and jury voting will decide the artist to represent Canada in Burgas. Once the winning artist has been selected, the act will work with music industry professionals to create the song that will represent Canada on stage in Burgas.
