
For our Summer 2026 feature series, we are celebrating 25 years of Melodifestivalen on tour. We will take a look at the songs that have progressed direct to the final over the past two and a half decades. Today we are looking at the songs that have progressed from Örnsköldsvik.
2007 – Heat Three
The third heat of 2007 took place at the Swedbank Arena, in Örnsköldsvik. Måns Zelmerlöw took first place (138,598 votes), with “Cara Mia”, while Sebastian took second place (120,896 votes), with “When the Night Comes Falling”.
2010 – Heat One
The first heat of 2010 took place at the Fjällräven Center, in Örnsköldsvik. Salem Al Fakir took first place (47,047 votes) and qualified after the first round of voting, with “Keep on Walking”, while Ola Svensson took second place (64,601 votes) after the second round of voting, with “Unstoppable”.
