RTVE, the Spanish national broadcaster, have announced their song, for the 2026 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Ta’ Qali.

RTVE have revealed that Lucas Paulano will represent Spain with “Cuore Bello (Te Quiero, Te Quiero)”. The composers include Blas Cantó (ESC 2021), Dangelo, Carlos Almazán and Lucas Paulano himself. “Cuore Bello (Te Quiero, Te Quiero)” was recorded on Tuesday 1st September, however it is unclear when it will be made public. RTVE had the following to say:

“The song is based on a simple yet incredibly powerful idea: in Latin, memory is linked to the idea of 
​​’re-passing through the heart’. In this way, the song connects love with memories and shows that the memory of our loved ones can be a source of light, strength, and inspiration. It is these moments and people that remain with us that motivate us to grow and become who we want to be.”
