For our Summer 2026 feature series, we are celebrating 25 years of Melodifestivalen on tour. We will take a look at the songs that have progressed direct to the final over the past two and a half decades. Today we are looking at the songs that have progressed from Malmö.

2020 – Heat Four

The fourth heat of 2020 took place at the Malmö Arena, in Malmö. Hanna Ferm took first place (94 points), with “Brave”, while Victor Crone took second place (82 points), with “Troubled Waters”.

2023 – Heat Four

The fourth heat of 2023 took place at the Malmö Arena, in Malmö. Loreen took first place (1,515,287 votes) and qualified after the first round of voting, with “Tattoo”, while Smash Into Pieces took second place (79 points) after the second round of voting, with “Six Feet Under”.

2024 – Heat One

The first heat of 2024 took place at the Malmö Arena, in Malmö. Smask Into Pieces took first place (1,287,107 votes) and qualified after the first round of voting, with “Heroes Are Calling”, while Lisa Ajax took second place (86 points) after the second round of voting, with “Awful Liar”.
